![]() ![]() In Section 4 of the Image Processor panel, you can also select ‘Run an Action’ on the images if desired. So you could, for example, specify a Width of 500 and a Height of 700 and no image will have a width greater than 500 or a height greater than 700. The Width and Height measurements do not have to be the same. Just select its checkbox so you can save the same image in different formats and at different sizes in the one process. ![]() The images are scaled in proportion so they aren’t skewed out of shape. If desired, you can save in another format as well. For example, if you type ‘300’ for the width and ‘300’ for the height, the image will be resized so that the longest side of the image (whether it be in portrait or landscape orientation) will be 300 pixels. Set the desired maximum width and height for the final image. To batch resize the images, select the ‘Resize to Fit’ checkbox. You can choose the size in terms of W (width) and H (height) in pixels. These fixes include Auto Levels, Auto Contrast, Auto Color or Sharpen.Option 3 in the Image Processor dialog box is where you can select the type of file you want to save the resized image. You can also apply a Quick Fix to your images as you process them. For JPEG format images, you can choose Max, High, Medium or Low quality. To convert the files to a different format or to compress them, from the File Type dropdown list, select the file format to use. If you plan to send your photos to an online sites for printing, you may want to match the resolution to what that site requires. This tutorial will show you how to apply the same editing to thousands of images at once in Photoshop using your own Actions. Here too you should set the resolution for the images. Don’t waste your time doing the same thing over and over in Photoshop. Portrait images will be taller than 600 pixels and Landscape ones will be shorter. So if you enter, for example, 600 as the Width all images will be sized so their width is 600 and their respective heights will be adjusted in proportion. This is because you can only set one value – width or height (in this situation this resizing tool works differently to the corresponding tools in Photoshop and Lightroom). ![]() If you enter 600 for the Width you will be unable to enter a value for the Height and vice versa. Now type the largest Width or Height to use for your resized images. ![]()
